Wizz Air has announced some new routes from London Luton Airport.
A number of slots became available following leisure airline TUI moving flights from Luton to Gatwick. This allowed Wizz to acquire the slots and plan a number of new destinations to serve.

From mid-2026 , the airline will fly to Alicante, Lyon, Corfu, Faro, Turin and Yerevan in Armenia.
Wizz’ UK subsidiary will base an additional A321neo from Luton, bringing the airline’s total aircraft count at the airport to 15.
Yvonne Moynihan, Managing Director at Wizz Air UK, stated: “Securing additional slots at Luton strengthens our competitive position in the London market. With the launch of our 15th based aircraft at London Luton Airport, we’re delighted to deliver a festive surprise by introducing six exciting new routes, including the first-ever direct connection from London to Armenia”.
