MRO provider Turkish Technic has expanded its long-standing collaboration with Pakistan-based private airline AirSial, signing a renewed component pool services agreement covering the carrier’s Airbus A320ceo fleet.
The agreement builds on a partnership that has been in place since 2020 and has now been extended for a further five years, while also widening the scope of services provided.
Under the renewed contract, Turkish Technic will continue to deliver comprehensive component support and pooling services for AirSial’s entire fleet.
This will be supported by the MRO provider’s extensive inventory of components and spare parts, alongside its global network of dedicated workshops and warehouses.
The expanded services are expected to strengthen AirSial’s operational continuity and improve fleet availability.
Mikail Akbulut, chief executive and board member of Turkish Technic, said: “Our renewed partnership with AirSial is a meaningful step which underlines shared ambition that drives our partnership forward.”
Since its launch in 2020, AirSial was launched in 2020 and currently operates seven Airbus A320s with six more expected by 2026.
The airline currently operates international flights to Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Jeddah, Dammam, Riyadh, and Muscat, and serves major Pakistani cities including Karachi, Multan, Islamabad, Lahore, Sialkot and Peshawar, with plans to extend its network to Medina, Kuwait, Canton, London, Manchester, Kuala Lumpur, Dhaka, Bangkok, Salalah, Bahrain and Sharjah.
Fazal Jilani, chairman of AirSial, said: “We are pleased to extend and expand our successful partnership with Turkish Technic, a relationship built on a foundation of exceptional reliability and technical excellence since 2020.
“This comprehensive component pool agreement for our entire A320 fleet is a strategic cornerstone for our growth, ensuring maximum operational efficiency and fleet availability as we continue to expand our network.”
