People News: Multiple changes at Daher following restructure

A number of leadership changes have been made at light passenger aircraft manufacturer Daher following a group restructure.

Heading up the changes is Thibault Scaramanga, who has been appointed as Daher’s Chairman of the Board of Directors, having previously served as Vice Chairman and representing the Daher family on the Board.

Aymeric Daher has been appointed as the company’s Executive Deputy CEO.

After 20 years with the Daher Group, including 10 years leading the company, Didier Kayat will step down from his position as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer on March 31.

Meanwhile, Marwan Lahoud and Éric Versey have been appointed as directors, replacing Frédérique Kalb and Michel Giannuzzi, respectively. Versey represents Bpifrance, a private equity investor.

The sweeping changes are part of the French airframer’s ‘Take Off 2027’ five-year strategic plan in which it plans to develop new technologies, including defence drones and electrified propulsion systems for its civilian aircraft.

Notwithstanding the changes to the senior leadership team, Daher increased it’s worldwide headcount in 2025 from 14,000 to around 14,500 and reported earnings of €1.9 billion in 2025
