Mark Busalacchi as been appointed director of sales Americas at Menzies Aviation in a move which the company says will further enhance its commercial focus across the region as it expands its footprint and service offering.
Busalacchi will oversee all commercial activities for the company’s ground handling, cargo, passengers with reduced mobility and aviation security services across the Americas.
According the Menzies Aviation, his appointment comes at a pivotal time for the company, following a year of significant investment and accelerated growth across the US and wider region.
With more than four decades of experience, Busalacchi brings expertise spanning frontline operations and senior leadership roles with major carriers and global aviation services providers.
He joins Menzies Aviation from Moonware and prior to that spent nearly 13 years with Swissport USA as most recently its vice president of sales and marketing.
Earlier in his career, Busalacchi gained hands on experience in ground operations, aircraft handling, warehouse management and station leadership.
