Aircraft leasing and asset management company Aergo Capital has completed the acquisition of two Airbus A320-200 aircraft from leasing company Aircastle.
The aircraft, with manufacturer serial numbers 3667 and 5510, are on lease to Avianca Airlines, the flag carrier of Colombia, and Mexican low-cost carrier, Volaris.
To complete the acquisition, Smith Gambrell Russell LLP acted as lead counsel to Aergo Capital, and PK AirFinance acted as the debt arranger on the transaction.
Eugene O’Reilly, acting-chief executive at Aergo Capital, said: “We are pleased to announce the acquisition of two Airbus A320 aircraft from Aircastle, and to welcome Volaris to our lessee portfolio.
“We extend our appreciation to both teams for their collaboration in bringing this transaction to a successful close, and we look forward to continuing our strong relationship with Aircastle on future.”
