Jiatai Aircraft Equipment Co., Ltd., part of AVIC Cabin Systems, has received the Airbus China Quality Champion Award at the 2026 Airbus China Suppliers Symposium held in Tianjin.
The company was the only supplier recognised with the award at this year’s event. The presentation was made by Sandra Bour Schaeffer, senior vice president of cabin and cargo procurement at Airbus.
According to Airbus, the award recognises supplier performance across areas including product quality, delivery reliability, supply chain cooperation and continuous improvement.

Jiatai has been listed on Airbus’ approved supplier list since 2016 and supplies passenger seating for programmes including the A320, A330 and A350. Its products are in service with multiple airlines.
The company said its operations focus on manufacturing quality and on-time delivery, supported by internal systems covering design, production, inspection and after-sales support.
In recent years, Jiatai has expanded its manufacturing and quality management capabilities, including the use of digital tools and traceability systems. It has also worked with Airbus on technical standards and supply chain coordination.
Jiatai develops and manufactures aircraft seating across economy, premium economy and business class segments. Its products are certified by EASA, FAA and CAAC.
