Aviation services provider, Gama Aviation, has announced major progress on the construction of its new Business Aviation Centre (BAC) at Sharjah International Airport \u2013 a purpose-built facility designed to elevate aircraft maintenance and operational efficiency across the Middle East.<\/p>\n
Representing a multi-million-dollar investment, the development underscores Gama Aviation\u2019s long-term commitment to the UAE and wider EMEA region, establishing Sharjah as a strategic base for business jet maintenance, parking, and line support.<\/p>\n
The 80,000 sqm site will feature a 12,000 sqm hangar dedicated to premium aircraft storage and line maintenance, incorporating wide-span doors, direct apron access and integrated MRO infrastructure to support multiple large-cabin types.<\/p>\n
Tooling, parts storage and client viewing areas will be housed within the same controlled environment to optimise workflow and minimise turnaround times.<\/p>\n
Tom Murphy, managing director \u2013 FBO services at Gama Aviation, said: \u201cThe Sharjah Business Aviation Centre will set a new benchmark for private aviation in the Middle East and beyond. Every detail, from terminal flow to hangar layout, has been created around efficiency, safety and the client experience.\u201d<\/p>\n
Gama Aviation confirmed that the facility\u2019s line maintenance operations will hold approvals for multiple OEM types, with future capability expansion planned as the company scales up regional MRO activities.<\/p>\n
