More than 200 shop floor employees at Lufthansa Technik\u2019s landing gear overhaul facility in Hayes, London, have secured a 5% pay increase following negotiations secured by UK trade union Unite.<\/p>\n
The skilled workforce at the site refurbish landing gear for a range of passenger aircraft, including the Airbus A380. The new agreement delivers a 5% uplift across all pay terms for the next 12 months \u2013 a rise that exceeds current inflation levels.<\/p>\n
Unite general secretary, Sharon Graham, said: \u201cUnite is the winning union and our members in aviation engineering for Lufthansa Technik<\/a> fully deserve this above-inflation pay award.
