Qantas and Japan Airlines (JAL) have today announced that they have signed a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding to facilitate the transition of Jetstar Japan to a new Japanese capital-led ownership structure as Qantas intends to divest its full shareholding in Jetstar Japan.<\/p>\n
This structure would consist of investment from JAL and the\u00a0 Development Bank of Japan Inc. Private finance company Tokyo Century will retain its shareholding in the business.<\/p>\n
