Saudi Arabian low cost carrier flyadeal<\/span><\/span> has renewed its Aircraft Production Inspection Program (APIP) cooperation with Lufthansa Technik<\/span><\/span>, signing an exclusive five-year agreement that significantly expands the scope of the partnership.<\/p>\n

Under the renewed contract, APIP will now cover flyadeal\u2019s incoming fleet of 51 Airbus A320<\/span><\/span> aircraft and 10 Airbus A330neo<\/span><\/span>, with options for a further 10 widebodies.<\/p>\n

Deliveries of the new aircraft are scheduled to begin in 2027. The agreement represents a substantial expansion of the original APIP partnership, which was first launched in 2021.<\/p>\n

APIP is a modular inspection programme designed to monitor and assess the aircraft production process end-to-end, from the initial inspection of sub-assemblies through to final assembly and aircraft acceptance. The programme aims to ensure production quality, conformity and transparency throughout the manufacturing phase.<\/p>\n

As part of the Saudia Group<\/span><\/span>, flyadeal has been working with Lufthansa Technik since the airline\u2019s launch, with support spanning aircraft engineering services, multiple base maintenance events for its A320 family fleet, and the deployment of several digital tech ops ecosystem solutions.<\/p>\n

The renewed APIP agreement further deepens that long-standing relationship as the carrier prepares for its next phase of fleet and network growth.<\/p>\n
