European cabin interior hub J&C Aero (J&C), has announced the sale of a majority stake in the company to Setna iO, a Chicago-based company known for used serviceable material,\u00a0 repair services, and asset leasing.<\/p>\n
Exact terms of the deal have not been disclosed, but under the new ownership structure, J&C\u2019s five founders will retain \u2018significant\u2019 equity and continue to lead day-to-day operations.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis partnership is an important step in J&C Aero\u2019s journey,\u201d said Laurynas Skukauskas, CEO of J&C Aero. \u200b\u201cFinding the right partner was critical for us\u2009\u2014\u2009and in Setna iO we see the same mindset and approach to business.\u201d<\/p>\n
He added that the partnership is designed to strengthen, not alter, the company\u2019s growth ambitions: \u200b\u201cTogether, we see clear opportuni\u00adties to expand internation\u00adally and continue developing our capabili\u00adties, while keeping the same team and approach that brought us here.\u201d<\/p>\n

The company operates 9,000 square meters of facilities and is supported by a team of 240 specialists and industry experts.<\/p>\n For Setna iO, the acquisition represents an expansion into certified aerospace design, production, and maintenance capabili\u00adties in Europe.<\/p>\n \u201cJ&C Aero represents a highly complemen\u00adtary addition to our global platform,\u201d said David Chaimovitz, Founder and CEO at Setna iO. \u200b\u201cTheir certified design, production, and maintenance capabili\u00adties significantly expand our industrial footprint and strengthen our position across the aircraft lifecycle.\u201d<\/p>\n Completion of the transaction is planned for Q2 2026, subject to customary regulatory approvals.<\/p>\n Talisman acted as financial advisor to J&C during the transaction, and Walless law firm provided legal counsel.
