{"id":1751,"date":"2026-03-02T12:08:58","date_gmt":"2026-03-02T12:08:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/zephyrsys.us\/index.php\/2026\/03\/02\/spanish-low-cost-carrier-volotea-aims-to-boost-revenues-with-amadeus-navitaire-stratos\/"},"modified":"2026-03-02T12:08:58","modified_gmt":"2026-03-02T12:08:58","slug":"spanish-low-cost-carrier-volotea-aims-to-boost-revenues-with-amadeus-navitaire-stratos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/zephyrsys.us\/index.php\/2026\/03\/02\/spanish-low-cost-carrier-volotea-aims-to-boost-revenues-with-amadeus-navitaire-stratos\/","title":{"rendered":"Spanish low cost carrier Volotea aims to boost revenues with Amadeus\u2019 Navitaire Stratos"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">European low cost carrier Volotea has completed an deal to adopt Amadeus\u2019s Navitaire Stratos platform to modernise its retailing capabilities. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">The aviation IT giant\u2019s next-gen digital solution will enable the carrier to offer more tailored options and help its customers to plan their trips.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">Amadeus said it will also \u201cenable the carrier to operate more efficiently, boost revenue, and respond quickly to evolving traveller needs\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">Alex de Jes\u00fas, Volotea chief experience officer, said: \u201cContinuing our collaboration with Navitaire allows us to further leverage technology to enhance the way we serve our customers. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u201cWith Navitaire Stratos, we are taking the next step in delivering more relevant and flexible booking experiences that drive customer satisfaction, while building the agility and resilience our teams need to stay ahead of evolving traveler expectations.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">Amadeus describes Navitaire Stratos as a \u201cdigital-first, cloud-native, dynamic retailing portfolio that leverages Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities\u201d. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">The platform was developed to deliver a more responsive service and will support Volotea to optimise operations through connections with partner airlines and third-party providers such as car-rental companies and hotel-booking platforms. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">It also provides the ability to adapt to market demands through an open technology architecture. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">Maher Koubaa, Amadeus executive vice president of the travel unit and managing director EMEA, said: <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u201cVolotea is one of the most innovative low-cost carriers in Europe, and it is an honor to be selected to accelerate its retail transformation. Navitaire Stratos is designed to empower forward-thinking airlines, and the agreement illustrates how we can help Volotea achieve retailing and operational excellence\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">Volotea has also extended an existing New Skies agreement with Navitaire, ensuring business continuity as Navitaire Stratos is rolled out. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">Volotea is a Barcelona-based airline founded in 2011 by Carlos Mu\u00f1oz and L\u00e1zaro Ros.
