Low-cost airline Eurowings is to introduce a premium seating class on eight of its Airbus A320neo aircraft.<\/p>\n
Instead of the traditional all-economy 2\u00d73 layout, the airline will offer a roomier 2\u00d72 seating configuration in the first two rows, creating eight \u201cPremium BIZ\u201d class seats.<\/p>\n
The decision follows successful market tests that began in late 2025 on longer routes such as Berlin\u2013Dubai. Passenger feedback has been strongly positive, highlighting greater personal space, privacy, and enhanced onboard service. In response, Eurowings plans to expand availability of the Premium BIZ seats to additional business and leisure routes, including likely services to London, Mallorca, and the Canary Islands. All eight A320neo aircraft will receive the new cabin layout.<\/p>\n

CEO Max Kownatzki said: \u201cThe success of our market tests made it clear within just a few months that many passengers on longer flights want a bit more space and affordable comfort.
