Air Astana Group has signed a firm order with Airbus for 25 A320neo family aircraft, the largest ever direct order by the group.<\/p>\n
The agreement includes five A320neo and 20 A321neo aircraft which will be deployed across both Air Astana<\/a> and its low-cost subsidiary FlyArystan as part of the group\u2019s overall fleet expansion and renewal project.<\/p>\n The group said the deal was made on the 20th anniversary since Air Astana started operating its first A320 in 2006.<\/p>\n Peter Foster, chief executive of Air Astana, said that the order \u201creflects a commitment to maintaining [the airline\u2019s] reputation for operational efficiency and service excellence in the long-term.\u201d<\/p>\n The A320neo family has proven a success in service with Air Astana over many years, in particular the operation of the A321LR.<\/p>\n Foster added: \u201cI\u2019m confident that the new fleet will continue to boost sustainable growth and profitability in the long term.\u201d<\/p>\n Beno\u00eet de Saint-Exup\u00e9ry, Airbus executive vice president sales of the commercial aircraft business, said: \u201cThis order further validates the unmatched economics and market appeal of the A320neo Family in one of the world\u2019s fastest-growing aviation markets.\u201d<\/p>\n READ MORE NEWS: Air Astana completes milestone 50th C-Check<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n
