Virgin Australia has signed a multi-year contract to join Embraer\u2019s Component Pool Program.<\/p>\n
Embraer will support the airline on a wide range of component exchanges and repair services for the eight E190-E2s that will soon enter Virgin Australia\u2019s fleet.<\/p>\n
Through the programme, which was announced during the Paris Air Show 2025, Virgin Australia will tap into Embraer\u2019s technical expertise and significant component repair service provider network.<\/p>\n
Alistair Hartley, chief strategy and transformation officer at Virgin Australia Group, said: \u201cThe E190-E2 will deliver greater efficiency and reliability to our regional fleet. Joining Embraer\u2019s Pool Program strengthens that advantage, giving us robust maintenance support at our new, purpose-built hangar at Perth Airport.\u201d<\/p>\n
