{"id":1936,"date":"2026-03-31T13:40:13","date_gmt":"2026-03-31T13:40:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/zephyrsys.us\/index.php\/2026\/03\/31\/ltcs-expands-footprint-in-the-americas-with-new-tulsa-facility\/"},"modified":"2026-03-31T13:40:13","modified_gmt":"2026-03-31T13:40:13","slug":"ltcs-expands-footprint-in-the-americas-with-new-tulsa-facility","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/zephyrsys.us\/index.php\/2026\/03\/31\/ltcs-expands-footprint-in-the-americas-with-new-tulsa-facility\/","title":{"rendered":"LTCS expands footprint in the Americas with new Tulsa facility"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Lufthansa Technik Component Services (LTCS) has officially opened a new state-of-the-art, 25,000 sq ft facility in Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA, representing the first major milestone in a two-part expansion programme.<\/p>\n<p>The new facility, the third on the LTCS Tulsa campus, includes 90 new workstations, an upgraded avionics workshop, and expanded administrative areas to support the growing demand for component MRO across the Americas.<\/p>\n<p>Combined with ongoing renovations in the original two buildings, LTCS said the expansion will result in a major increase in production space.<\/p>\n<p>According to LTCS, among the notable new capabilities is the repair and overhaul of Integrated Drive Generators (IDG) used in Airbus A320ceo and A320neo as well as Boeing 737NG and MAX aircraft.<\/p>\n<p>The Tulsa facility has a wide range of component workshops, including avionics, galley components, emergency equipment, hydraulics, pneumatics, and fuel systems, ensuring comprehensive support for all major commercial aircraft types.<\/p>\n<p>LTCS said customers across the Americas also benefit from its extensive customer service organisation, material management services, warehousing capabilities, and 24\/7 component availability from strategically stocked material stores across the region.<\/p>\n<p>All services are fully integrated into Lufthansa Technik\u2019s global network, with major component hubs in Hamburg and Frankfurt, Germany, and Shenzhen, China.<\/p>\n<p>LTCS said this alignment enables Tulsa to serve as a key gateway for component support solutions in the Americas \u2013 particularly for operators seeking greater reliability, deeper technical integration, and long\u2011term lifecycle support.<\/p>\n<p>Tobias Baumgart, managing director of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lufthansa-technik.com\/en\/ltcs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LTCS<\/a>, said: \u201cWith this significant strategic investment, we are expanding our capabilities in the aviation hub Tulsa, to be in the region for the region.
