An A380 aircraft has been refitted with Emirates\u2019 new interior as part of the airline\u2019s modernisation programme for the aircraft type.<\/p>\n
The refurbished aircraft (A6-EUX) is the first of 15 A380s that the airline will refurbish from two to three class, converting the cabin to accommodate premium economy in addition to standard economy and business class.<\/p>\n
READ:\u00a0First A380 to be fitted with Starlink enters service<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n Managed entirely in-house by Emirates Engineering in Dubai, the retrofit programme has so far completed work on 95 Emirates aircraft including 42 Airbus A380s (converted to four-class) and 53 Boeing 777s, representing more than one third of Emirates\u2019 current fleet of aircraft.<\/p>\n As part of the retrofit, Emirates\u2019 award-winning Premium Economy cabin will be featured, for the first time, in the upper deck of the A380.
