Aviation compliance and regulatory assurance platform OneReg is focussing on accelerating its international expansion with the appointment of a new regulation and public policy chief.<\/p>\n
Billie Moore, currently chief executive of the New Zealand Airports Association, will take up the newly created chief regulatory and industry engagement officer role focused on government affairs.<\/p>\n
The appointment follows OneReg\u2019s oversubscribed $4.5 million Series A round, as the company accelerates its international expansion and deepens collaboration with regulators and public sector partners.<\/p>\n
As chief executive of the New Zealand Airports Association, Moore has represented the operators of 49 airports nationwide and works closely with government, regulators and industry leaders to support a safe, sustainable and resilient aviation network.<\/p>\n
A former diplomat, she served as a foreign affairs, trade and political adviser to four New Zealand Ministers, as New Zealand\u2019s consul general to New South Wales and Queensland, and as chief advisor at the Ministry for the Environment.\u00a0 She also led government relations for Tourism New Zealand.<\/p>\n
