{"id":2549,"date":"2026-07-13T11:24:07","date_gmt":"2026-07-13T11:24:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/zephyrsys.us\/index.php\/2026\/07\/13\/amac-aerospace-launches-maintenance-training-academy\/"},"modified":"2026-07-13T11:24:07","modified_gmt":"2026-07-13T11:24:07","slug":"amac-aerospace-launches-maintenance-training-academy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/zephyrsys.us\/index.php\/2026\/07\/13\/amac-aerospace-launches-maintenance-training-academy\/","title":{"rendered":"AMAC Aerospace launches maintenance training academy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>MRO provider AMAC Aerospace is launching a new aircraft maintenance training programme to develop aircraft maintenance professionals through an industry-focused, hands-on learning environment.<\/p>\n<p>AMAC Academy will be based at EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg with the first intake to begin in January 2027.<\/p>\n<p>Located within the facilities of AMAC Aerospace Switzerland, AMAC Academy is developed in accordance with EASA Part-147 and FOCA requirements and is designed to prepare students for their EASA Part-66 Basic License in either Category B1.1 (aircraft mechanical systems and turbine engines) or B2 (avionics).<\/p>\n<p>AMAC Aerospace said the academy provides a unique opportunity for students to learn directly within AMAC Aerospace\u2019s operational aviation environment, which is approved under EASA and FOCA regulations.<\/p>\n<p>Students have access to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amacaerospace.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AMAC Aerospace<\/a>\u2019s aircraft, components, workshops, and experienced aviation professionals, allowing them to develop both the technical expertise and practical skills required by today\u2019s aviation sector.<\/p>\n<p>The full-time programme will be delivered in English with industry professionals as instructors.<\/p>\n<p>Successful completion of the training will lead to a Certificate of Recognition, qualifying graduates to apply for an EASA Aircraft Maintenance License (AML) with reduced practical experience requirements.
