{"id":283,"date":"2025-07-03T09:02:00","date_gmt":"2025-07-03T09:02:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/zephyrsys.us\/index.php\/2025\/07\/03\/ses-appoints-mangan-fahy-as-new-ceo\/"},"modified":"2025-07-03T09:02:00","modified_gmt":"2025-07-03T09:02:00","slug":"ses-appoints-mangan-fahy-as-new-ceo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/zephyrsys.us\/index.php\/2025\/07\/03\/ses-appoints-mangan-fahy-as-new-ceo\/","title":{"rendered":"SES appoints Mangan-Fahy as new CEO"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Shannon Engine Support (SES) has confirmed that Denise Mangan-Fahy will be its next chief executive, starting September 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Mangan-Fahy will succeed Julie Dickerson who is retiring after leading the spare engine leasing solutions business for more than a decade.<\/p>\n<p>Mangan-Fahy has worked in the aerospace industry for 35 years, initially with Shannon Aerospace before joining GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) in 1998 as vice-president engine management, rising to senior vice-president portfolio and rental operations in 2018.<\/p>\n<p>With AerCap\u2019s acquisition of GECAS from GE in 2021, Mangan-Fahy became head of portfolio and rental operations for AerCap Engines.<\/p>\n<p>Mangan-Fahy said: \u201cI would like to thank Julie for her outstanding leadership and dedication in positioning SES as the number one lessor of CFM56 and LEAP engines worldwide. In my new role, I will continue to drive SES\u2019s vision of operational excellence and portfolio growth whilst delivering on our customer requirements.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI look forward to a seamless transition and to working with the SES team for many years to come.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ses.aero\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SES<\/a> is jointly owned by AerCap and Safran Aircraft Engines, delivering CFM engines (including the CFM56s and LEAP engines) to airline customers around the globe.<\/p>\n<p>The company says it aims to have 700 engines under management by the end of 2025, and up to 900 by the close of 2028.<\/p>\n<p>Mangan-Fahy and Dickerson were contemporaries from their time at GECAS, which Dickerson joined in 1997. \u201cWhen I joined, there were around 28 of us, we had a portfolio of 200 engines,\u201d Dickerson said. \u201cToday we have more than 100 employees and a portfolio of over 600 owned and managed engines.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith Denise\u2019s appointment I know that I am passing on the company to someone who values our people, for it is the long-term relationships that they build and nurture, and their technical skills which have always been the foundation of our success.
