Ryanair has produced a league table of the nations with the worst performing air traffic control in Europe, as it derides a system described as \u2018broken\u2019 as a result of what it what it sees as a failure to be properly staffed and efficiently managed.<\/p>\n

In addition, the airline has repeated its call for Martin Rolfe, the UK\u2019s ATC chief, to step down following a brief, but disruptive, outage in the week.<\/p>\n

The airline has long campaigned for EU reform to ensure ATC providers are fully staffed and has called on passengers to visit the \u2018Air Traffic Control Ruined Your Flight<\/a>\u2019 webpage and demand that national Transport Ministers and the EU Commission take \u2018urgent action\u2019.<\/p>\n

Ryanair\u2019s Michael O\u2019Leary said: \u201cAnother month has passed, and Europe\u2019s worst-performing ATCs in France, Spain, Germany, the UK, and Greece continue to inflict avoidable delays to thousands of Ryanair flights and millions of Ryanair passengers due to mismanagement and inexcusable under staffing. Yet, neither the EU Commission nor national Transport Ministers responsible for these failing ATC services have taken any action to fix Europe\u2019s broken ATC services\u201d.<\/p>\n
