Air C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire has taken delivery of its first Airbus A330-900, marking the introduction of widebody operations into the Ivorian flag carrier\u2019s fleet.<\/p>\n
The aircraft, the first of two on order, is configured in a four-class layout with four seats in First, 44 in Business, 21 in Premium Economy and 173 in Economy.<\/p>\n
The new A330neo fleet will underpin the airline\u2019s international expansion, beginning with services to Paris before opening routes to the Middle East and North America.<\/p>\n
To mark the delivery, the aircraft\u2019s ferry flight from Toulouse to Abidjan carried five tonnes of humanitarian supplies, including school materials and health equipment, coordinated with the Airbus Foundation and Aviation Sans Fronti\u00e8res. The donations were distributed to local NGOs LifeShine and La Bienfaisance.<\/p>\n
The A330neo is equipped with Airbus\u2019 Airspace cabin, offering passengers enhanced comfort with larger overhead bins, new lighting systems and next-generation inflight entertainment and connectivity.<\/p>\n
