ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, Insurance) operator SmartLynx Airlines, is to transition to Flightkeys flight schedule planning system as the airline seeks to further digitalise operations. Following a year-long planning and preparation process, the Flightkeys 5D package was successfully moved into production on May 20th.<\/p>\n
The software brings a high level of automation to the flight planning processes, including automatic generation of the Operational Flight Plan (OFP). This allows SmartLynx\u2019s Flight Dispatch team to shift their focus from routine tasks to solving more complex operational challenges. SmartLynx reports that already the system\u2019s speed and responsiveness have made it particularly well-suited to the fast-paced nature of ACMI operations.<\/p>\n
