Aircraft and engine aftermarket solutions provider, AerFin, has taken delivery of a second B777-300ER previously operated by Japan Airlines (JAL), marking the company\u2019s third acquisition of the aircraft type.<\/p>\n
The widebody will be disassembled in the US to provide high-quality serviceable material for AerFin\u2019s global customer base.<\/p>\n
Auvinash Narayen, chief investment officer at AerFin, said: \u201cThis latest acquisition underlines our long-term commitment to supporting airline customers in the Asia Pacific region. By extending the life of these high-value assets, we are helping operators reduce costs and strengthen supply chains with sustainable solutions.<\/p>\n

This acquisition reflects AerFin\u2019s commitment to proactively supporting the global demand for B777 material, especially for the 777-300ER.<\/p>\n
Narayen added: \u201cThe B777-300ER isn\u2019t expected to retire at the same pace as older 777-200 or 777-300 variants. AerFin\u2019s outlook is that while legacy B777 aircraft will continue to phase out, the 300ER is a different proposition entirely.<\/p>\n
