GetJet Aviation Holdings rebrands as GetJet Group

GetJet Aviation Holdings has rebranded as GetJet Group, marking a strategic shift designed to support its 2026 growth ambitions and an increasingly integrated global operation.

The move sees the group simplify its structure while strengthening the visibility of its core GetJet brand across its operating companies.

According to Darius Viltrakis, chief executive of GetJet Group, the former holding name had largely served a legal function, while the business itself has evolved towards a more vertically integrated model.

Under the new structure, GetJet Group will operate through several key entities, including Lithuania-based ACMI and charter carrier GetJet Airlines and its Maltese operation, GetJet Airlines Malta, alongside aviation asset management and maintenance provider Airhub Aviation and Airhub Training.

The rebrand follows a year of geographic expansion beyond the European Union, with growing partnerships in the Middle East and other regions. As part of this momentum, the group recently secured a new contract with Etihad Airways, adding to an existing customer base that includes Air Senegal and Wizz Air.

Recent seasonal operations have also included national carriers such as Royal Air Jordanian and TAP Portugal, with further customer announcements expected ahead of summer.

Looking to 2026, GetJet Group plans to create around 200 new roles across four countries, supporting expanded flight operations, training activity and MRO capacity. A key element of this is the repositioning of GetJet Airlines Latvia into a cabin crew training organisation, consolidating AOC operations under its Lithuanian and Maltese platforms while developing Latvia as a training and talent hub.

Fleet growth is also planned, with five additional aircraft expected to join the group in Q1 and early Q2, aligned with confirmed customer demand. In parallel, GetJet Group is progressing discussions to strengthen its capital base, with a formal funding announcement anticipated in the coming weeks.

On the maintenance side, the group will manage two MRO facilities: Airhub Aviation’s hangar in Šiauliai and a new GetJet Airlines facility planned at Vilnius International Airport, with construction scheduled to begin in Q4.

The expansion is aimed at increasing MRO capacity in Northern and Eastern Europe, where infrastructure remains constrained, while supporting the group’s ambition to enhance technical independence alongside its ACMI operations.
