Air India to open premium ‘Maharaja Lounge’ in New Delhi

Air India has is set to open a new lounge at Terminal 3 of Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi.

The ‘Maharaja Lounge’ as it is known, incorporates elements of the airline’s current branding. It will be open to guests travelling in Business and First Class, Gold and Platinum Maharaja Club and eligible Star Alliance members starting 16 February 2026.

The lounge features zones tailored to different needs, offering spaces for relaxation or work alongside more vibrant areas for social engagement. Guests can select an environment aligned with their preference and mood, so they can always find a corner that feels just right.

Conceptualised by global design studio Hirsch Bedner Associates (HBA), The Maharaja Lounge features interiors with refined furnishings, ambient lighting, and a consistent design language.
