Global GSA Group wins Asiana Cargo GSSA role in France and Germany

Global GSA Group has been appointed General Sales and Services Agent (GSSA) for Asiana Airlines Cargo in France and Germany, expanding the carrier’s commercial presence in two of Europe’s most important export markets.

The agreement is intended to support sales continuity and operational stability as Asiana Airlines continues its integration within the wider Korean Air framework.

Global GSA Group said the partnership will help reinforce Asiana Cargo’s position in both markets, where demand remains strong for Asia-bound freight, particularly to South Korea and Japan.

Shipments routed via Seoul Incheon also provide onward access to destinations across Northeast Asia and wider global markets.

Under the deal, Global GSA Group will provide full commercial and operational support in both countries, covering sales and business development, reservations, billing, marketing support, operational coordination, and day-to-day customer service.

Germany remains one of Europe’s most significant air cargo markets due to its strong industrial base, while France continues to play an important role in consolidated shipments and more diversified export flows.

Global GSA Group said its role in both countries will focus on disciplined capacity management, close cooperation with freight forwarders, and maintaining commercial performance across core cargo segments.

Aytekin Saray, chief executive of Global GSA Group, said: “France and Germany are cornerstone markets for Asian trade flows. Our strength lies in combining deep local expertise with structured capacity management, enabling us to support consolidation flows, optimise sales performance, and deliver measurable results across diverse commodity segments.”
