Alton Aviation Consultancy has announced the promotion of Dion Serrao to senior associate.
Serrao joined the company in 2024 and has since contributed to several high-profile strategy and due diligence engagements for airlines, airports, MRO’s, government entities, and financial institutional investors.
In a post on social media, Alton Aviation Consultancy said: “Dion played a key role in supporting a very large, national airline M&A due diligence where he developed a comprehensive 10-year passenger traffic forecast, benchmarked competitor airline financial and operational performance, analysed opportunities for organisational rightsizing, and prepared a detailed valuation model for major international airport landing slots.
“In addition, he contributed to an MRO hangar acquisition due diligence, conducting rental rate benchmarking and tenant demand analysis. He also advised a major international airport on the jet fuel supply market and typical airport fuel concession agreement structures.”
The company added: “Throughout these engagements, Dion has demonstrated strong analytical capability, attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex datasets to deliver clear, actionable insights that consistently exceed our client’s expectations.”
Serrao said: “Since joining Alton, I’m continually impressed by the calibre of my colleagues and the willingness of Alton leadership to share their experience and expertise with the junior team.
“With each new client engagement, I’ve been challenged to grow in my role and look forward to further developing my analytical and leadership skills.”
