China Airlines launched the new seat at the Computex exhibition in Taipei, where it also confirmed that the cabin class will seat 28 passengers in a 2-3-2 configuration.  The airline also revealed details about the ambient lighting onboard, which it has named ‘Starlit Mountain City’ as the designers felt the twinkling lights and how they reflected on the seat fabrics resembled the Taiwanese gold mining town of Jiufen (which anime fans will be interested to note that ‘Spirited Away’ was set).

In addition to services such as two-toned blankets, slippers, and noise-reducing over-ear headphones, complimentary Wi-Fi offering a service level consistent with Business Class with support for unlimited web browsing and messaging is available.
